About the event
Purpose:
To foster an appreciation and understanding for the game of soccer. Develop both offensive and defensive skills through fundamental drills for the appropriate age level. Activities: Campers will learn and develop skills in age/skill appropriate levels and compete in individual and team competitions with the PHSGS Coaching Staff and current PHSGS players.
Camp Director:
Plant High School Head Girl’s Soccer Coach, Mike Miranda, will be directing his 1st summer of Panther Summer Camps in Tampa. Coach Miranda has been coaching youth soccer for over 10 years. In 2023-24, he was the volunteer assistant for the PHS Boys Varsity team and this year moved to the Head Coaching position for the PHS Girls Varsity Soccer team. Coach Miranda received his U.S. Soccer National C Coaching License in 2023. Coach Miranda also serves as the University of Tampa Men’s Soccer Team Physician since 2021.
